Had a great stay at the boondocking site in Moose Bay. Today we are heading to Homer then hopefully staying the night at an RV site to do some cleaning and laundry.

We arrived in Homer just after lunch so we dined at a cute truck cafe. I had deep fried rockfish with fries, Jackie had a sockeye burger, we both had the tangy rhubarb lemonade. YUM YUM!!

We parked at the very end of the spit and wandered the shops and beach. Homer is very scenic with towering mountains/volcanoes across the inlet. It has a very large commercial fishing harbor, as well many of the flights to view the Kodiak bears leave from here. While walking the beach we may have even seen a sea otter.

Camping is expensive on the spit and the RV place we had planned on stopping at is hosting a music festival so we head back to Soldotna to overnight at Fred Meyer.
