Left the hotel at 8 for our walk to the old Inca storage sheds on the hill. This took us about 40 minutes to walk up the very steep incline, but the view was worth it. You could see the Inca terraces of the vast Inca complex across the valley.

After spending 1/2hr enjoying the view we headed back down so we could check out of our hotel.

Met up with 3 of our party doing the quarry walk at lunch. Walked on down to the train station for our 90 minute trip to Machu Picchu town.

The train ride took us thru the cloud forest-lush vegetation, banana plants,vines and butterflies. We passed by many Inca ruins as we follow some of the Inca trails along the river. Beautiful scenery and we arrived to Aguas Calientas.
