Up early to drive to Hyder Alaska to visit the fish & bear viewing platform.  No bears found, but we did see some salmon.  We declared our short visit at the, continuing on towards the Alaskan Highway.

Another long travel day thru cloudy skies and lots of bush, but we did see two black bears by the highway, as well as a porcupine and a fox with a bird in its mouth.

We arrived at Jade City (population 12) just after 5. It is an interesting place with large jade rocks everywhere, as well as odd looking saws to slice everything up.
