With only two weeks to go, it looks like we might actually make it to Japan, this will be our third try to visit Japan & Korea.
Our first attempt was in 2011 but 2 weeks before we were due to leave an earthquake caused a tsunami that damaged the Fukushima-Daiichi nuclear power station which caused our tour to be canceled fortunately with a full refund.

Our next attempt came eight years later in 2019 and we all know how that year turned out. The month before we were due to leave Japan shut its door to all travelers so our tour was once again canceled but this time they would not refund our money offering us a credit instead.

Once again Japan is welcoming back tourists so we are going to give it one more try, we rebooked our tour let’s see if our 3rd attempt is the charm.
