Short flight to Ho Chi Minh City (formerly known as Saigon). It is very warm and humid here – 27 degrees at 9 a.m.
In the afternoon we have a cyclo tour – a bit nerve wracking moving slowly through the frantic traffic, but enjoyable to relax and view the city without having to focus so much on other people around us.
We see the Reunification Palace and Note Dame cathedral -very much like that in Paris.
We stop to visit the War Remnants Museum – sobering and sad exhibits. Many, many graphic photos of the horrors of war. We also see pictures of the foliage destruction caused by Agent Orange and learn of the horrible birth defects and illness that resulted from its use. Sad to think about ongoing wars still today around the world.

Great Blog! Thanks for sharing. Should have taken a multicopter Guy – we would be looking at some aerial shots too. There should be the odd shot of the travelers too BTW.

Glad your enjoying it. Were down to our final week, not sure if I’m sad or not but I am looking forward to getting home. Wish I could of brought one with me but no room or time.
