Welcome meeting went well, looks like a very nice group of people and not one Australian among them.

Up early this morning to pack, then a two hour guided tour thru the public market place, china town and the palace where we watched the changing of the guard done on horseback. Even the band was on horseback- including the trombone players.

Then back to our hotel to pick up our baggage and head to the bus station.

Travel time to Pisco is just over 4 hrs, after arriving we will be going out for dinner and a few Pisco Sours which are similar to brandy but supposed to be a little more potent.

Along the way we traveled along the Pacific ocean, saw lots of sand dunes, and quite a few half finished resorts and lots of very run down looking shanty towns.
